The CWU national office has been at 139 Queensberry St, Carlton South for over 30 years. Of course CWU is our new name. We are part of CEPU. We are the product of a number of amalgamations with ATEA, ATPOA, APTU, TOA and others.

We sold our building in Carlton South in August 2011 for about $8 million. The building needed repairs and major plant upgrade. It was far too large for our needs. It had suffered several "floods" - which accounts for the new carpet over some of the floor. A decision was taken several years ago to sell - the market price was good and the Executive agreed to sell it in 2011.
