32. LEAVE TO ATTEND AS WITNESS IN INDUSTRIAL PROCEEDINGS
32.1 Eligibility and entitlement
Leave without deduction from ordinary pay will be granted to any employee summoned to appear as a witness in proceedings under the Work place Relations Act 1996, as may be amended from time to time. The leave will be only for such time as that employee is necessarily absent from work attending as a witness.
32.2 Period of Service
Leave granted under this clause will count for all purposes as period of service.
33.1 Leave granted
An employee summoned as a juror will promptly notify the appropriate supervisor and will be granted leave of absence on full pay at the ordinary rate of pay for the period necessary for the attendance at court.
33.2 Jury Fees
The employee will pay to the employer the jury fees received.
34. Employee learning and development
The employer is committed to providing induction training and ongoing development programs relevant to the current and future skill requirements of the workplace so as to ensure that employees:
(a) fully understand the work environment;
(b) fully understand what is expected of them in terms of both quality and quantity; and
(c) are provided with the skills and knowledge necessary to perform their jobs efficiently, effectively and safely.
The following matters are reserved for further consideration and possible agreement during the life of this agreement:
(a) annualised hours;
(b) bonus payment;
(c) change in quantum of casual loading;
(d) relocation allowance;
(e) review of Logistics Operator Level I and Level 2 salaries subsequent to staffing profiles being established; and
(f) rostered day off scheme.
