ALP STATE CONFERENCE - 11/12 JUN 2005

YOUR WORKPLACE RIGHTS
"These things are worth fighting for" Bob Carr at the ALP NSW State Conference promising to support workers in the fight against the Federal Liberal Party laws. Bob Carr pointed put that these words were spoken by Ben Chifley, from the same spot in Sydney Town Hall, in 1950.

The state conference took decisions supporting a "fair go" for workers. A political campaign is only one avenue that we will use to support your conditions such as redundancy, pay, job security and so on. But we cannot do it alone. Your help is needed, so look for opportunities to defeat this legislation.
