CWU T&S WEEKLY BULLETIN NO 2019 / 42
03 NOV 2019

NOTE
Our Web site was down for several days this week. We apologize. We are changing our host and a complication arose.

CHECK YOUR TELSTRA CLASSIFICATION
We offer this analysis of Workday. We hope it helps. Steps to take:

Home page; Apps and tools; Company Apps; Select Workday (previously pex )
    Select personal information
Select about me; Select compensation; Then select compensation again.
Let us know of your findings.

WORKSTREAM SALARIES
We have published the salary history for all workstream classifications. See Salaries

TELSTRA EBA
There has been some movement as Telstra have now offered a slightly larger pay increase - 1.8% this year and 2% in October next year. (as they already pay 1.5% it is only a 0.3% increase this year). While the pay rises are unacceptable the EBA will allow transfer to a subsidiary, and for Telstra to direct you to take LSL. We have not seen the detail in words. The devil is always in the detail.

STAND UP FOR WORKERS
Scott Morrison's union busting bill will soon be voted on in the Senate. The fate of the bill is expected to be decided by a handful of votes. We need you to email key Senators to stop Scott Morrison's attack on working people and our unions. Scott Morrison's union busting bill is extreme, unnecessary, and will make it harder for workers to win pay rises and protect their jobs. Michele O'Neil, ACTU President. See Stand uo for workers

WAGE THEFT
Wage theft has got to stop. And it's pretty clear no one is going to stop it but us. Last week Hospo Voice member Rohit bravely exposed the $10 million wage theft scandal at Rockpool and Woolies was caught out as well. Let's make an example of Rockpool to show other wage thieves what they've got coming. See Megaphone
