TELSTRA 2002 EBA OVERVIEW

The 2002 round resulted in 6 EBAs for Telstra, virtually indentical agreements. Initially, the IS EBA was rejected by members. NDC had a separate agreement.

* Note: Except for CFW and NDC, Salaries icreased by only 2% in December 1999. Members voted down new EBAs for CCW, BSW and TSW, rejecting the full 4% pay rise.

+ Note: Telstra had 6 agreements, almost identical. There was also the NDC agreement.

In Infrastructure Services (IS), the first pay increase EBA7/1 2% did not take place until 22 May 2003. Members in IS had rejected the first EBA, but all other groups accepted it. It was later accepted allowing the first payment in May 2003. No other payments were affected.

NDC Limited members were paid their first EBA increase on 3 July 2003 but this was backdated to 2 Jan 2003. NDC rejoined Telstra in July 2003 and integrated into the IS Agreement..
