Our Branch Committee of Management took the following decision:
Given the current CPI of 3.5% and the Morrison Government budget forecast of 4.25%, the current pay offer of 2.5% and 3.0%will result in a large real wage cut over the next two years. The Branch urges all members to vote NO.

2019 EBA CERTIFICATION

The old EBA was certified on 12 June 2020 The EBA operated from 19 June 2020. The nominal expiry date is 30 September 2021. See 2019 EBA Telstra

2022 EBA CAMPAIGN
Despite a number of meetings, the unions were unable to achieve any significant gains. Thery did push back on the Telstra log of claims, but Telstra achieved gains.

The pay offer was miserable. Telstra had paid two increases since the nominal pay rise date of October 2021. The first increase was 1%, and the second was 0.5%.

The EBA offer was 2,5% in Oct 2022 and 3.0% in Oct 2023.

This time, with nthe break-up of Telstra, Telstra has proposed 4 x EBAs.

TIMELINE

Telstra ddvised as follows:

• Access Period 7-13 April
• The Vote - CorpVote, is responsible for the voting process. The secret ballot will be conducted online or via telephone.
• Amplitel, InfraCo Field & Telstra Limited EAs: Voting will be open from 12:01am AEST on Thursday 14 April until 4:00pm AEST on Wednesday 27 April 2022.
• Retail EA: Voting will be open from 12:01am AEST on Thursday 14 April until 4:00pm AEST on Friday 22 April 2022.
