`Yes' vote

I am pleased to confirm the outcome of the Ventia Telecommunications Enterprise Agreement 2021 vote is a `Yes' vote. Thank you to everyone who voted. The new EBA will help Essential Services compete and win work over the next 3 years and enhance employment opportunities for all our people.

I want to take this opportunity to thank our employee bargaining representatives, leaders and all of our employees for your active and passionate participation during the bargaining process.

RESULTS OF THE BALLOT:

Total Yes Votes 46 Total No Votes 5 The Agreement therefore was APPROVED by the majority of those who voted and has therefore been MADE.

NEXT STEPS:

The Agreement will be lodged with the Fair Work Commission (FWC) this week - we anticipate FWC will take 4-8 weeks to approve the EBA. We will keep you updated

Lump sum back payments on ordinary time will be made within two weeks of FWC approving the agreement.

New hourly rates will commence once FWC has approved the agreement.

All other EBA terms and conditions (including allowances etc) will commence once the Fair Work Commission (FWC) approves the Agreement. We will advise when the EBA has been approved
