Number 24 10 July 2022 TELSTRA EBA APPROVED The Telstra EBAs have been approved by the Fair Work Commission this week. TELSTRA SEC DISPUTE We have been advised that the Fair Work Commission anticipates publishing the decision in the South East Construction Shift matter this week. POST SPF OVERTIME We have written to the Facility Manager about the apparent decision to stop overtime between SPF and SGF - effectively moving from the Fair Work endorsed agreement. We understand that the reason was "safety" even though this has not been raised with OHS reps or the union. We are seeking that the FWC agreement be honoured. NEW STAMPS IN ENGLAND
The Guardian news reports as follows: In February, Royal Mail introduced a new design for its standard stamps, which have changed so little since the launch of the Penny Black in 1840 that they are officially known as "definitives". The new stamps - "plum purple" for first class, "holly green" for second - still feature the same regal profile introduced more than 50 years ago. But what is most bothering purists - and leading Johnson to the brink of direct action - is the addition next to the Queen of a digital barcode.
