POSTAL SERVICES INDUSTRY AWARD 2003

ROPING-IN AWARD 2005

AWARD

1. TITLE

This award shall be known as the Postal Services Industry (Roping-in No.1) Award 2005.

2. COMMENCEMENT DATE OF AWARD AND PERIOD OF OPERATION

2.1 This award shall come into force from the beginning of the first pay period to commence on or after 1 July 2005 and shall remain in force for a period of 12 months.

2.2 Nothing in this award shall in itself operate to reduce the conditions of employment of an employee which were in existence immediately prior to or at the commencement of this award

3. PARTIES BOUND

3.1 This award shall be binding upon:
3.1.1 The Communications, Electrical, Electronic, Energy, Information, Postal, Plumbing and Allied Services Union of Australia (CEPU); and
3.1.2 The employers listed in Schedule "A" - Post offices bound by this award, and all their employees covered by this award, whether such employees are members of the union or not.

4. APPLICATION

The Award known as the Postal Services Industry Award 2003 as varied from time to time shall be binding according to its terms upon the Communications, Electrical, Electronic, Energy, Information, Postal, Plumbing and Allied Services Union of Australia and upon the respondents named in Schedule "A" to this award.
